Ciaran Hanna represents the eighteenth legislative district of Monroe County which includes the Town of Perinton and a portion of the Town of Pittsford. Legislator Hanna currently serves as Chairman of the Human Services Committee, Vice-Chair of the Planning and Economic Development Committee and is also a member of the Recreation and Education Committee.

Beyond his duties as a Monroe County Legislator, Ciaran serves his community in a variety of other ways. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Action for a Better Community, a member of the Perinton Historical Society, and the Crescent Trail Association. Legislator Hanna is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #11749.   In the past, Ciaran has served on the Board of Directors of the Assumption Parish CYO Basketball Organization and as a coach of the Rochester Youth Hockey for seven years.

Legislator Hanna works as an Information Technology Operations Manager at H.P. Neun Co., and currently resides in Fairport, New York with his wife and their four children.
