Monroe County Legislator Ciaran Hanna today announced his candidacy for re-election to the 18th District. Ciaran was elected to the Legislature in November of 2005.
“I am proud to announce that I am seeking re-election to the Monroe County Legislature because I want to continue fighting for Perinton and East Rochester taxpayers,” said Hanna. “I am proud to have partnered with County Executive Maggie Brooks to deliver stable property taxes, solid job creation and retention efforts that are moving our economy in the right direction. With the support of my friends, neighbors and fellow residents in the Towns of Perinton and East Rochester, I will continue fighting to protect local taxpayers.”
In announcing the launch of his re-election campaign, Hanna outlined his experience as an active member of his community and as a job creator as two qualifications that will continue to serve him well on the County Legislature.
“Over the course of the past six years as a County Legislator, I have met many residents and listened to their concerns about our challenging economy. With the support of Perinton and East Rochester voters, I will continue my goal of always putting taxpayers first.”
Hanna also announced the launch of ciaranhanna.com, a state-of-the art new website that will serve as the online hub for his campaign. The new platform features the latest in online connectivity, including full social media integration.
